I am taking an online course that involves me putting
graphs into the text of my answers. I can print the
homework out with the graphs but when i try to cut /paste
or copy /paste to my e-mail to send in the homework the
graphs do not transfer. If I add the file as an
attachment the professor can not open it as he does not
have corel word perfect. any suggestions

Hi Patti,

Sounds like a limitation of your email client, there's not much you can do
about that. In order to insert these "objects", the program must support
them. Did your professor state what word processor he/she does use? You may
simply need to save them in a format that can be translated to their
program.

I don't know what formats you can File/Save As .. from Word Pefect.
Read the list of available formats that can save embedded graphics and
then check that list with your professor to find a way he/she can read
with software that he/she has.

In a pinch, you can create Adobe PDF format using the free Ghostscript
program, or buy a copy of Adobe Acrobat.

From WordPerfect, try using the 'save as' Word format and see if that
works. Some conversions work and some do not. Worth a try anyway.
