since I installed windows xp home, my word perfect 10
freezes when trying to select any printer other than my
default printer. any tips on fixing this?

WP 10 is not entirely compatible with XP; for that you need to upgrade
to WP 11. You can discern the differences by going to the Corel
Office web site. Try re-installing first as Jim suggested.

You might also try:
Placing icons for all your printers on your desktop. And BEFORE
printing to the one you want to use, set it as the default printer.

While switching printers from within WordPerfect should work, since it
doesn't that strategy might help.
