WORD: paste does not work

Hello,
I am using Word. I copy a text selection and when I clic CTRL V (or Edit
Paste), nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't
found any solution on the Internet.

Is your copy of Word part of Works Suite?

Hi Pascal-

Sorry for the dumb question, but have seen it happen too many times to not
ask...

Are you placing the insertion point in a different location before you
paste? If not you are simply pasting the copied material right back in the
same place, so you won't see anything happen.

Thank you Suzanne,

This problem of not being able to paste has been bugging me for weeks and
your post solved it promptly. One can ask, logically I hope, why the Works
Suite
has this impediment for WORD and why this suggestion is not made by Microsoft
in the sale literature. Anyone with this problem owes Suzanne a big round of
applause.
