Does Microsoft sell software that I can use with word that will index words?
I do legal transcritions and I was wondering if there is such a package.

Certainly Word can make indexes without any external package -- I doubt that
there's any word processor that can't index its own documents.

Look up the Word help topic "Create an Index" (or point your browser at

for instructions. You can also read
