Word from 2002 Office XP Professional

I have two documents created, one is a regular Word text doco, the other is a
single page of diagrams constructed in Word with the drawing tools. I wish to
put the diagrams into the other doco. When I use CTL A, Word does not seem to
select the page. How can I get it into my other doco?
 
Not entirely sure what a doco is, but if the second one is a Word
document, put the cursor where you want the diagrams to go, and use
Insert > File.
 
Selecting All in a document with "floating" objects (such as graphics or
charts) won't explicitly select the objects, but it will select the
paragraphs to which they have been anchored. If you then copy and paste, the
objects will follow.
