Word freezing at scroll

After I installed XP and SP2, Word periodically will freeze while I am
scrolling through a document... the freeze is wierd... cant do anything to
get my laptop to respond... power button doesnt work, nor do keyboard
commands... I have to remove the battery and unplug. Any thoughts? --Christian
