Do _not_ use Word to work with files on a CD other than one that is closed
for further writing. You'll trash your CD and may lose your work. Within
Word, work only on documents that are on a hard drive (or possibly a RAM
drive) not those on CDs or floppy disks. When you have saved your work to
the hard drive, use Windows to copy it to your floppy or CD-ROM (or your CD
burner).
