Hi,
I am converting a Powerpoint presentation to HTML to allow us to make
bootable Business CD's for an exhibition. (Cannot boot from CD into
PPT so I convert to HTML). Alas, when I convert the PPT to HTML, all
my word documents that were imbedded in PPT are now just converted to
small graphics of the word icon and no links are present. Does anyone
know how to retain the word documents when converting to HTML

If you mean by bootable, an AutoRun CD. Then look here.

Make an AutoRun CD

If Michael's suggestion re autorun CDs doesn't get it for some reason and
HTML's still the answer, let us know what exactly you want to happen to your
Word docs in the HTML. Do you want clickable links that launch Word or screen
resolution images of the docs or ...???

I would like clickable links that launch word so that the documents can be viewed

You can, I'm pretty sure, create a screenshot of your word doc to give the user
something to look at in the PPT (and HTML version of same), then give the screenshot
shape a hyperlink or action setting to launch the word .DOC file.
