Is there a field code or anyother way of showing, by text that will print,
what font is being used in that selection?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?U3Vl?=,

No, there's nothing built into Word that will show that. Closest you can get
is the "style area" in the Normal view (Tools/OPtions/view). That will
display the STYLE applied to the selected text, in the left margin. But only
on-screen.

If you have Word 2002/2003 the Styles and Formatting task pane can show you
more information about the current selection. What, more specifically, do you
need?

I have a lot of "arty" fonts and wanted to view them on a page with just one
sample of the alphabet, numbers etc (rather than printing the font page) and
it would be easier if there was a field code to display the font name rather
than having to type it in manually.
I am using office 2003, if there is anything else that would do the job in
that version.
Thanks
Sue
