I upgraded to XP b/c I was told ME was the worst program
ever made, but now I do not have Microsoft
word/excel/powerpoint/access, which I need for work and
school. Where are they or did they not come on this
program? Or is is just my computer?

These programs are part of Microsoft Office. They DONT
come with Windows. You will need to reinstall Office or
go buy a copy.

Windows XP DOES NOT comes with these programs..
You need to install Office 2000 or XP

These have NEVER been part of Windows. You need to either re-install
them from your Office CD, or buy it if you haven't got it.

If you expected Windows XP to come with these, sorry to tell you that neither Windows XP, nor any other version of WIndows, has ever come with these programs, or any other application software.

If your previous computer running an older version of Windows came with these programs, it wasn't that it came with Windows, it was that your vendor chose to bundle Microsoft Office as part of the package he sold you.

If you want these, you need to buy a copy of Microsoft Office. Alternatively you can choose to buy another office suite, such as Corel WordPerfect Office, StarOffice, or you can downoad the free OpenOffice.

By the way, upgrading to XP because you were "told ME was the worst program ever made" is probably the worst of all possible reasons. You should upgrade to anything only because of your own personal needs and experiences, not because of what someone told you.
