Word does not work as email editor in Outlook for XP

I still have problems using word as the mail editor for Outlook XP and can't
seem to get a fix to the problem.

I had the same problem which also included not being able to create a new
email. Our IS department just installed Office 2003 on my PC and it seems to
be working fine now. Apparently during a resync of our Outlook server
something trashed the Word editor using HTML.
