Likely cause is corrupted normal.dot file.

Tried that one already , but ... Did not work . The funny thing is that new documents are working well , only existing ones ( or attachments etc ) are causing the restart .
 
If you are using Norton Antivirus, try turning off the "office plug-in"
under options.

Try starting Word in safe mode:
Start > Run > winword.exe /a
This starts Word with the basics, without third-party plug-ins that
might be affecting it. Try it, and if it works, you have to disable
third-party software on Word's start up folder.

Thanks for the tips , but it did not work .
I tried to reinstall word but it did not work as well .
The wierd thing is that it only happends to existing docs and not to knew one . For exemple - if i create a document it is works fine .

Is there any thing more before , reinstallation of XP ?
