how do you recover a document or at least part of it when
the pc is accidentally turned off? PLS HELP ME!

THANKS..

C. Newhouse

If you have the option to save autorecover information set then when you
re-open Word it should be recovered, but as this function is a bit hit and
miss, especially on older Word versions, it may not be. If the document is
not saved there is nothing to recover.
You *may* find scraps of the document in temporary hidden files in the
document folder, but again don't rely on getting anything useful from this
route.

Download the demo from www.recovermyfiles.com. Run a "complete search" just
for word documents. You can also add your C: folder to the search just to
check if there are any temp files that contain your document.
