Word docs open with a email header

All of a sudden every word doc i open, if outlook is open ,opens up with a
email header
i am not sure if its outlook or word i am in ,and then trying to open the
files from an email test, locks up, is there a way to stop the way these
word docs now open ?

Your NORMAL.DOT template is corrupt. Close Word, find it and delete it. It
will be recreated when you reopen word. Make sure you have set Windows Folder
Options to show all hiddenfiles and extensions.
