I have a co-worker who insists that before we upgraded Office from 2000 to
2003, her dates did not change once entered. Now when she opens her
documents, the dates automatically update (as they should since they are date
fields). Is there an options setting somewhere that does not auto-update any
fields unless you ask it to at that time? Sort of like in Excel, you can
choose to manually update fields (or prompt you to update when you open the
document). I have explained to her that she will have to change each of her
dates to the CREATEDATE or LASTSAVED date manually. Does this sound like her
only option?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
