Word cannot find my contacts when creating new email message

In Outlook, I want to create a new message - (The default program is Word) I
select my address book but I get an error message that I do not have access
to the contact folder or it has been deleted or moved.
In Outlook the contacts are all there. Any suggestions?
 
Version of OUtlook/Word? Do you have the Outlook Address Book service
installed?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
