Word automatically shuts down?

I'm using Word 2003. After I close a document in Word, then switch to
another program such as Outlook, Word will automatically close itself after
about 10 min. of inactivity. Does Word have a sleep or hibernate feature???
It appears to be doing this.

My other programs run fine so I don't believe this is a compatibility issue.
