Word attachments in Outlook

When I attach a Word document with a table of contents and page numbers
(inserted by styles) some recipients must update the toc (page numbers only).
 
This could be to do with the set up on their machine, ie their margins may be
different which in turn alters the page references.

Thanks very much for the reply but the margins didn't matter (my question
was not clearily explained).
Actually, the problem was receiving a Word document in e-mail and when
opened in the Reading Layout and then switching to "View, Print Layout" the
table of contents displayed the wrong page numbers (defaulted to all two's in
my case). The solution was to open a blank Word document (or the received
document), go to "Tools, Options, General tab, and clear the Allow starting
in Reading Layout check box.
