Word attachments are minimized

When I launch Word Documents from Outlook 2003, the document opens in a
minimized session of MS Word 2003. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Windows XP SP1
Office 2003 SP1

I thought this occurred in a previous version of Outlook but I cannot find
anything in the NEW Microsoft Knowledge Base.

I appreciate any assistance.
 
Sounds like a "taking focus" issue. Most of these issues can be solved by
installing the latest videocard driver or rollback to your previous if you
just updated to the latest version.
