Each time I open a document in my WORD 97, It appeas a message saying that the document is in use by A and ask if I would like to save it. But the doc is in my C (HD) and not in the A (floppy)!... Why does this occour? What to do? Thanks

First, never, ever, not even on February 29th, work with a document in Word
that is on a floppy drive or other removable media (except perhaps a
flashdisk which in ROM, not CD-ROM).

In use by A does not mean "In use on the A: drive;" it means in use by a
user known to your computer as "A." See <URL:
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/docinusecontent.htm>.
