There are some offices in my region that are starting to upgrade to Office
2003 and are running into problems with some of the templates for forms that
were written using Word 97. One user said that the drop-down fields are
empty when he opens up the Word 97 file in Word 2003 (he said it was when it
was an attachment that the drop down lists are blank). Since I do not have
2003 yet, is there a way to fix this problem? Or is it just easier to
redesign the form using Word 2003?
Thanks.

Is it certain the form document was emailed as an attachment? Or did someone
send it as the body of the email? In the second case, it has nothing to do with
the version of Word, but it's simply the fact that form fields don't convert to
email-HTML.

If it is the first case, was the document ZIPPED before being attached to the
email? If not, the document might have been damaged during transmission.
