I am trying to build a form to be used as a template in Word 97. I want the
users of this template to be able to type in an employee name in one field
and then have that value be displayed at the top of all subsequent pages. I
know I can do this in Excel....I am sure there has to be a way in Word. Can
anyone help? Thanks!

See http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm. What you are talking about
is what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For more about
online forms, follow the links at

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
