Word 97 and Windows XP

Im buying a new PC with Windows XP and I have old Word 97
from Microsoft Office 97. Will WORD 97 is compatible with
windows XP or I have to buy XP OFFICE???

Anything from Office 97 works fine with XP. I use Word
and excel 97 with XP home.
