Word 2K: Using Background Sounds/Scrolling Text

Hi, I have been having a problem when trying to insert background sounds,
scrolling text and/or a movie into a word document/web page using word. I
have version 9.0.6926 SP-3 (not sure if this is of any use to anyone). When
I click on any of the buttons I get the following message: "The server
application, source file or item cannot be found. Make sure the application
is properly installed and that it has not been deleted, moved or renamed."

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Word numerous times only to get the same
problem. My version of Word 2000 came on a Microsoft Works Suite 2001 CD Rom
and the version on the disc is SR-1 but I have since updated it. I have
looked on the disc for any add-on's containing the sounds, movie or scrolling
text applications but I can't find any. Basically I just wanted to be able
to add some background sound to my website and some scrolling text.

Any help would be much appreciated. I have searched through these forums
but haven't been able to find anything relating to my problem.

Thanks very much for showing me that, it explains a lot and seeing as I do
have Service Pack 2 installed I assume that this is what's causing the
problem. The only problem I have now is that that site doesn't show any
solution to it. It just says what the cause is. Do you know what is best to
do? I hope I don't have to uninstall SP2.

Unfortunately, there is no solution except to uninstall SP 2 since the
change was made for "security" reasons.
