Word 2007 scroll down feature disappear

I have work with vista ultimate and microsoft office for over 5 months, and
now scroll bar on the right in word has stopped working, I can not select a
text block for copy paste, nor can I place my cursor in a sentence or text.
The only way i can navigate through document is the arrow keys. Please help
or I have to reinstall OS and office again. PS, I have already attempted to
repair office suite, unistalled and re-install the entire suite.
 
Instead of reinstalling Office, try reinstalling your mouse driver.
