It appears within every start up of Word (I mean that one which is on the left side). Changing the settings doesn't help, it appears next time I start it again and again. Please, help me to solve this problem. Thank u in advance.

From the Tools menu, select Options and then go to the View tab and uncheck
box in front of the "Startup Task Pane" item in the "Show" section of the
dialog.

And if this doesn't work, download the Task Pane Controller from

Thank you Suzanne! I'm so grateful to you. It was actually so irritating when I had to see the Task Pane every time I run Word. If I could do it unchecking the box in the settings menu I wouldn't have asked. The patch you gave to me helped. It really works. Thank u once more.
