Word 2003 Task Bar is in the way

I have just installed Office 2003 and am getting very annoyed with the task
bar that pops up on the right. It appears everytime, it covers the vertical
scroll bar, and I can not find a way to make it stop appearing. The only
solution I've found is to close it manually everytime. Does anyone know a
way to make this disappear?

Hi Fred,

See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ShowTaskPane.htm. The
task pane controller you can download there can stop it from popping
up.
