Word 2003 slow to start

Whenever starting Word after pc has hibernated or rebooted ,a message says
'Word 2003' then 'preparing to install', then takes 20 seconds to open Word.
Is this normal?

Try asking in the word.setup.networking newsgroup. No, it's not normal, but it
can happen.
