When I copy a text from one word document to another, I lose headline
settings even though both uses the same settings. Can anyone help me with
this? I have made my own settings and are using them as a global setting for
headlines. (The numbers in front of the headlines doesn't "follow" the copy
i.e. 1. Headline 1 become Headline 1)

Hi Econ

Word isn't very good at copying and pasting bulleted or numbered paragraphs
between documents.

As a first step, try triple-clicking the problem paragraphs in the recipient
document, then do ctrl-spacebar and ctrl-q. That removes any direct
formatting from the paragraphs. It re-sets the paragraph to its underlying
style, including that style's numbering.

If that doesn't work, then follow the instructions on the following page,
making sure that you do *exactly* the same steps in each document.

Hope this helps.
