Eeeeek,
I've just managed to crash Word in Office 2003 after recording a macro.
I wanted to see the instructions that Word uses when recording and closing a
..doc and so I recorded a macro.
The macro was still running of course when the document closed, something
that Word apparently didn't appreciate.
I had recorded the macro on an test document so as not to lose anything of
importance but as it was linked to Normal.dot, I guess there was 'a hitch'
When I click on any.doc, the timeglass shows up for a split second
but the document never appears.
It does show up in the recent menu though and I can create new .docs and
delete .docs but I can't open 'em.
I've tried reparing Office 2003 from my CD and Norton SystemWorks (repairs
Windows) but to no avail.
How am I meant to sleep tonight???
Thanks in advance
