How can I secure a Word document, in such a way that noone else can edit og
erase that file?
I have lost several files, because someone clicks on "cut" in stead of "copy".
I have tried with a password, but everyone can erase the file, even though
they can't edit it.

have you tried set it to "read only" in properties before you encrypt it?

Here is one thing to try rt click on the file goto properties then security
and deny the permission for anyone but you access to the file. This will work
untill someone figures that they cane take ownership of the file and delete
or change it , the other way is to get a third party encryption program
