How do I remove the info in properties ia Word document. I cannot have the reader tell when I created or modified the document. I tried everything in the help menu regarding the security tab but I still cannot remove the dates. It is important that this info is confidential and does not go out with the document. Please help.
Thanks

Hi Earle

See these articles for general information, some of which may surprise you:

You can't completely remove the dates -- especially the creation date, which
is maintained by both Word and Windows -- but you can mask it by creating a
new blank document and using Insert > File to pull in the content of your
original document. The creation date of the copy will be the current date.
