Word 2002: Printing in mailmerge.

I am trying to print 1400 newsletters. I have gone through the mail merge
wizard and attached an excel database that clearly shows up on the document
in the computer. The last thing is the merge to printer. Everytime I do
this, I get an error response that says "Word could not finish merging these
documents or inserting this database." I have tried clicking the 'All' and
the 'From' 1 'To' 699 (which is half of the records) and nothing works! Help!

1. Which version of Word is involved?

2. If you try to merge to a new document, instead of to the printer, does that
work?

3. Can you merge a single record?
