Word 2002 How to delete a page

How do I delete a page that has been automatically created in a document.
I want to reduce the doc to 1 page, after removing some text, it all fits
now in one page, but the document goes on to a second blank page....

I want to remove the blank page...how?

Click on the Show/Hide all button ¶ and look for and delete any empty
paragraphs at the end of the document. They will appear as
