Word 2002- graphics problem

I create designs on a blank word document but for some reason the fill
color and line color buttons have stopped working.They work alright in the
Paint program but not in Word. I tried restoring to an earlier point but that
didnt work ,then I removed Word 2002 program and reinstalled it but that made
no difference either. Also previous color compositions that I have saved and
printed now appear only with black lines. I have an Acer Aspire running
Windows XP.

Help please?

Try posting in a Microsoft Word newsgroup - that's where
the Word experts hang out.
 
Thanks for responding Pegasus (MVP). Ive been looking but can't locate a
Microsoft Word newsgroup, probably right under my nose , could you help me
with this please?

Look under microsoft.public.word
