I am trying to copy a Word 2000 document containing a macro to another
computer also using Word 2000, and have the macro work as in the original
document. Is there an easy way of moving the document and the macro from one
computer to another?

Provided the recipient agrees to run a macro saved in a document (I take it
it is in the document and not the template) then it should work equally when
opened on the remote machine.

Graham, I'm sorry, it is in a template, not a document, guess I'm still
suffering from the Monday Blahs' on Tuesday. I need to move a template with a
macros from one computer to another and have it function as it did in the
original using Word 2000.

Thanks

If it is a document template copy it to the folder defined at tools >
options > file locations > user templates.
If it is an add-in template copy it to the folder tools > options > file
locations > startup
