WORD 2000 CURSOR PROBLEM

I'm reposting this question due to a mistake in the heading previously (WORD
200 instead of WORD 2000)

I'm running Word 2000 in Vista. My preference setting is for white text on
blue background. I used that setting for many years in XP with no problems
at all, but in Vista the cursor is black and near invisible! This is very
hard on my eyes (I'm an elderly person). I want to make the cursor white like
the text so it is more easy to see, as it was in XP. Can anybody help me
with that, please?

The heading wouldn't have made a difference. What it needs is someone
familiar with your problem. I suspect the number of people using white on
blue with Word 2000 running on Vista are few - and even fewer looking in
here. I suspect there will be no solution. White on blue has been dropped
from the latest Word version. With a decent quality monitor, properly
adjusted, black on white is easier on the eyes.
