I am working with word 2000 and trying to print envelopes from my address book.
I go to tools/ envelopes and labels/select a name that is in my address book/ and all I get is the name. Not the address.

If I try Mail Merge, I get the same thing. I only get the name. Not the address. Help. I don't want to have to type these addresses in everytime I post to this group.
And also, how can I select a specific group in my address book and not use all of the people if I do mail merge?

Is the address book getting its entries from the Outlook contacts list? Did
you change the sort order in the address book? If yes to both, then Outlook
2000 had a habit of losing its grip on the addresses. Check the display in
Outlook contacts with the view set to 'detailed address cards'. If the
addresses are not shown there, open and save each contact without an
address. That will cause the address to redisplay and will be translated to
the address book. Don't make changes in the address book directly or it will
occur again.
