Word 07 beta print problem

When printing in Word 2007 beta, the text gets miniaturized up into the left
corner. (on a HP PSC1315) it doesnt matter if it's an old word 03 document, a
copy'ed/paste'd text, or completely new text in a new document. When
printing, it miniaturizes it.
Unfurtunately this completely rules out using the word 07 beta in my daily
work - a darn shame because the UI seems very easy to use, which i had looked
forward to.

Anyone else have that printing problem or a solution to it?

Same problem. Haven't tried anyother printers yet but currently using HP
7110. Printing looks normal in print preview but miniaturized ( looks almost
like a thumb view) on printing.

(New tool bars will take some getting used to... but I said that too when I
moved from sidekick to work 1.0!)

I am having a similiar. However, mine only occurs when I try to print a range
or the current page. If I am printing the entire document, it is ok.

Well todays a new day and the problem cleared all by it's self. Was going to
spend some time trying to debug and figure what I could and it printed
correctly first try.

Now on Sunday, I reboot a few times and changed lots of options all with no
effect.

If the problems comes back I'll update this thread.

Historically HP drivers have been crap - they even keep quiet about the fact
that they have beta drivers available for a variety of issues. The latest
ones are at http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/ No guarantee that they will fix
your problems ... yet :(

I'm sorry this thread appears to have stopped because I'm having exactly the
same problem on my Epson Stylus Photo R300. Did anyone come up with a
solution or do I have to stop using the beta?

Well, it IS a beta, and it would appear that support for some printers is
less good than for others. I would imagine that initial efforts might have
been more heavily focused on document printers (LaserJets, for example) than
on photo printers.

I observe the same problems when I try to print on printer Epson Stylus 1290
in a mode of high quality, however in a mode of high speed the work passes
normally. Also normally prints on printer HP LaserJet 1300.

Many users are reporting that switching from Draft to high-resolution output
causes this problem. It seems to have been established that if you change
the printer setting in the printer Properties *before* starting Word, you
will not encounter the problem.

Thanks, it works right.
