Recently (last 48 hours) my computer will not wake up from
sleep/hibernation. I have had Windows Vista Home Premium installed and
running since the day it was released, and I have honestly not had any
problems with it.
Previously, I was able to press the space bar, and the computer would power
up and run perfectly. Starting yesterday, pressing keys has no effect at
all. Pressing the power button on the tower also has no effect. I have to
physically unplug the CPU from the wall, wait a few seconds, plug it back
in, then press the power button and allow the computer to "resume Windows".
I have installed NO software or hardware, and I have made NO changes to the
system. My power configuration is "balanced".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
