Hi: I have replaced my CDRW with a new faster one. At the same time I put in
a second 40x drive. XP will only see the D: drive i.e. whichever I configure
as master. But several programs will see the second drive. I.e. can't see
the E: drive in Explorer, but Nero sees it as does Device Manager. Any ideas
please? Donald

.
Even using the DOS (CMD) prompt will see your "E" drive.
The question is: Is drive listed in "My Computer" so
that it is found in your startup? Click Start/My
Computer. If it is listed, rightclick it/go to
Properties/tools/error checking. Check it out.

Use TweakUI - one of the XP Powertoys from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Once installed you will find it in Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

Its My Computer - Drives page ensure that all letters are checked

But Alex - surely you understand that to an American the world outside is
only a figment of a foreigner's imagination? And since there is no world
outside USA, the foreigner himself is a figment of his own non-existent
imagination?
