Won't Boot

Computer was working fine. I was downlaoding a file for
my Lexmark printer, compter hung. Now it won't start,
even in safe mode.

Any ideas. It trys to start, some blue screen flashes by
too quickly to read, then it trrys to re-boot, but always
fails.

Hello!
Boot with XP Bootable CD with 1st boot preferance as
CD-Rom, now go for "Repair" option;follow on screen
instructions.

Not the immediate repair (and there will be no on-screen instructions
for that'. Enter setup, and after the license agreement take 'Repair
Installation'
