WMV/AVI to MPEG ?

I would like to save movies in MPEG so my friends on
MSNTV/WEBTV can view them. Is there a converter of some
type that can be downloaded for movie maker?

The software I use is call TMGEncoder. It's not a plugin
for MovieMaker, but seperate application.
