WMP9 Performance

I have a problem in XP(SP1) where the wmplayer.exe starts
taking 80 to 90 percent of the system? Has anyone heard
of this?

Thanks for the website. This problem was something
corrupt in my media library. I deleted everything out of
the media library and reload it and things are ok now.
