WMP 10

I need to know if anyone knows why my computer cuts off
suddenly any time i try to play music or movies on the
WMP 10. I had the beat version and never had a problem.
The other day the release version popped up on the
Windows Update Page and so i upgraded but now every time
i try to start any media whether it is directly through
the player or if i try to launch any media on a web page,
my computer acts like the power has been cut off.
Monitor goes black and everything turns off except for
the power light and then i have to switch it off and back
on. It happens consisently with using the Media Player
10.

Use your anti-virus, a Trojan Cleaner, then Spybot. Re-boot and re-install
WMP10.
