WMM won't write to my hard drive

I have WMM 2 on a pretty new Dell Deminsion, plenty of
hard drive space and memory. I love WMM for editing
my home movies but it won't write the file to my hard
drive. When I try to a box comes up saying it is writing
and will take "9425023 Minutes". Millions of minutes is
too long to wait for a movie file to write to a hard
drive. I tried leaving it over night but found nothing
written in the morning. I tried saving to a CD with the
same results. Any advice?

There's a number of things that might be the issue. See the Problem Solving

Defragging your hard drive and trying again often resolves it.
