WMM Crashing during editing

I got to place a Transition on my movie and it closes on
me. any answers would be helpful

couple of knotches after going to www.papajohn.org, but
still had no change
 
Hi there,

Take a look at the acceleration and codecs page at PapaJohns site, with
particular emphasis on the codecs side of things. If you have a DVD player with
the free software that usually comes with it then there is a high chance that
it is the problem....Cyberlink and Intervideo. Please note the latest paid for
versions do not cause these problems.

I had the same problem when trying to use certain MPEG

files. Seems most MPGs are not compatable with MM2. The
codec tries to work but just crashes.
