wks file

It could be either an MS Works file or a very old Lotus 1-2-3 file.

Your best bet would be to contact the sender for more info.

Google for "wks file" for more background info.
 
Usually, although it could be an old Lotus 1-2-3 file.
I'm pretty sure Excel will open a Works spreadsheet, but I'm not certain if
the Excel Viewer can. Regardless, anyone who doesn't have Excel should have
the free Excel Viewer.
