I think my wireless card may be faultly. It will only stay connected for a
short period of time then disconnect. I cant figure out what to do with it.
Should I call dell since my comp is still under warrenty, or could it be
something else?

It also could be your ISP ? What type of service do you have , Another thing
, Did you update your router? ( firmware )

Maybe this?

"The computer disconnects from a wireless network after random time
intervals in Windows XP"

Adding to John advice, try to check the Power option for your Wireless Card,
by going to the Device Manager and Right click the NIC and select properties
from the list.
On the NIC Properties click on Power Management Tab and uncheck the
Option/Check Box for:
[ ]Allow the computer to turn OFF this device to save power.

I tried all of these and none work. Also the other laptops in my house do
not have any problems with the wireless network.
