I set up a wireless network yesterday and all was fine, after having found
that the network adapter had become corrupt for some reason. I was able to
see the wife's machine and she could share the printer as well.

Then the wireless adapter lost signal and under instruction from belkin I
had to reassign the channel.

My wife's machine etc is now not visible/accessable by me..... any ideas
anyone please?

Steve,

Is your computer though accessible from your wife's computer? One of the most
common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or overlooked personal
firewall, though if your symptom started with the reconnection as you desired,
I'd look deeper. There are other possibilities too. Read this article with an
open mind.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
